What To Expect At Your First Burlesque Show

Your first Booty Burlesque show will be a fun experience in LA or Long Beach! No need to be nervous - you’ll have a great time at this unique performance. Here’s what to expect at your first burlesque show:

  1. Get ready to be loud!

Get ready to scream, cheer, whoop, and holler when a performer does something impressive! The more you show support, the more fun the experience is.

  2. Choose your spot wisely

Make sure you’ve got a good view, and be prepared for performers to engage with you! If you’re close to the stage, you might receive a wink or some interaction from a performer. If you’re a bit more shy, you can grab a spot a little further from the stage.

  3. Audience participation is optional

At most of our shows, we include some audience participation moments. They’re all unique and a surprise - so raise your hand when the emcee calls for volunteers if you want a shot at getting up on stage! This is perfect for those who are good sports, love to laugh, and appreciate the art of burlesque. If you volunteer a friend, make sure they’re really game to be in front of an audience!

  4. Respect the performers - no touching

Please respect our burlesque dancers and performers by keeping your hands to yourself and being respectful.

  5. Tag us in photos!

Take as many photos and videos as you want - just make sure to tag us @bootyburlesque!

  6. Bring tips!

Tipping is optional but always appreciated. Your tips make it possible for us to keep putting on more unique burlesque shows in Los Angeles and Long Beach, CA. Our stage kittens will come around with tip baskets, or you can throw your singles on stage! (Forget to grab cash before the show? You can tip us online here.)

  7. Have fun!

Booty Burlesque shows are a great opportunity to let loose and have a fun night out with your friends. Come prepared to laugh and have a great time - we’re excited to see you at our next show
